For a world with less conflicts

How Relieve was born

My dream was to be a film director.

As a child, I told others about all the films I saw, but always changing the ending and putting my own spin on it.

Over the years, I continued telling stories, but in other fields. As a lawyer, headhunter, and human resources executive, I have told and listened to thousands of stories, including legal proceedings, professional trajectories, and company transformation processes. Until one day, I experienced an unprecedented story in my life.

When I turned on my computer one morning, I couldn't put my hand on the keyboard. Literally. I felt a sharp pain in my stomach, a lump in my throat and my arms were locked. I remained motionless.

Finally, a medical confirmation that I had been trying to avoid for months: I was diagnosed with burnout.

What I saw happening to several professionals happened to me. It was difficult to accept that I was sick. Mentally and physically.

Fortunately, after (a lot of) rest, therapy, medication, and support from loved ones, I recovered relatively quickly. This story ended well.

I’m burnout-free now, but in a way, it didn't leave me.

I noticed that he was lurking, waiting for me to return to my “modus operandi” of working limitlessly, of accepting toxic situations to prove that I was strong.

That's why Relieve was born.

I learned that when we don't respect our limits, we can recover our physical health, but the mental consequences remain, affecting our self-confidence, and the trust we have in others and in our work.

I want to share what I learned, so that others don't have to go through these situations.

After all, I didn't abandon my dream of being a film director, I still intend to tell beautiful stories with happy endings.

The second chapter of this story began with Ingrid’s arrival, a person who shares the same values and understands the importance of stress management and self-knowledge, as a way of healthy realizing one's potential.

With the joint belief that an environment does not have to be toxic to function, we built our first solution together: Relieve for you.

The third chapter begins now, with all those who share the same ideal and who recognize that everything begins with self-knowledge.

When we know ourselves better, we manage our emotions better and we are better people to us and to others.

We hope you can also be part of this movement, to make the world a place with less conflict.
